Graphic Arts Group were very pleased to be asked to support the Mencap Big Day Out 2016 on Saturday 8th October. This was an excellent opportunity to engage with the Mencap Network and local service providers and see first-hand the fantastic work which they carry out every day in supporting those with learning difficulties and other disabilities.
The event was held at the world renowned Silverstone Race Circuit and there was plenty to do with many excellent presentations from the trustees and executives and an activities zone with events ranging from table tennis to jewellery making. Also, in hall 3, was the market zone where Graphic Arts Group and other approved partners were networking with the service providers.
This provided the service providers and the Mencap Network an opportunity to discuss their requirements and the challenges they face. They could also browse samples of Mencap branded merchandise including bespoke clothing, print, confectionery and get personalised webshop demonstrations.
